Business funding explained
Merchant Cash Advance for Small Business
Explore funding based on your business’s future receipts. Regium Funding receives applications from $7,000 to $500,000, subject to eligibility and underwriting.
What is a merchant cash advance?
A merchant cash advance, or MCA, generally provides money upfront in exchange for an agreed amount of future business receipts. The agreement sets out how receipts are collected, the purchased amount and the business’s obligations. Read those terms carefully: the name of a product alone does not tell you its cost or how it will affect cash flow.
Regium Funding offers purchase of future receivables and merchant cash advance products as a direct financial provider. We work with U.S. businesses seeking capital for operations, inventory, equipment and growth.
Who can apply with Regium Funding?
- At least three months in business.
- $5,000 or more in monthly revenue is recommended.
- Three months of recent business bank statements for review.
These starting criteria are not an approval promise. Funding amounts depend on the review of your business. Contact our team to confirm availability for your state and industry. See our merchant cash advance requirements and application checklist.
Understand the cost before you accept
Ask for the gross funding amount, every deduction, the net amount you receive, the total purchased amount and all additional fees. Review the collection frequency and how a decline in revenue is handled. If an offer uses estimated withdrawals, ask how reconciliation works, what evidence is required and how to request an adjustment.
A factor rate is not an annual interest rate
For illustration only, $50,000 multiplied by a factor of 1.30 gives $65,000. The difference is $15,000 before any separate fees. This example is not a Regium Funding quote. It does not calculate an annual percentage rate: timing, fees and the actual cash you receive matter when comparing costs.
Also ask whether earlier delivery of receipts reduces the total cost. Do not assume that a faster payoff automatically brings a discount. The FTC’s small-business financing discussion explains why differing pricing methods can make offers hard to compare.
How the application process works
- Share your company details, time in business, monthly revenue and requested amount.
- Provide three recent months of business bank statements through the method our team requests. Do not put account numbers in a general contact message.
- Review any offer, disclosures and written agreement. Ask about costs, collections, reconciliation and obligations before signing.
- Proceed only if the amount and cash-flow commitment fit your business. Submission alone does not guarantee approval or a funding date.
Compare the alternatives
An MCA is one option. Compare the actual offer against a business loan, line of credit or invoice factoring when those options are available to your business. Our MCA comparison guide explains the differences and the questions to ask. Connect with our team before choosing an amount or accepting an offer. Regium Funding is a direct financial provider. Our products include purchase of future receivables, merchant cash advance and royalty-based investment. These are business financing products, not consumer loans.
